A Dose of Buckley 17 – Paying for Facebook
NOTE: As there’s been quite a few more visitors to my WordPress “blog”(ugh) recently, I thought I’d point out to newcomers that there’s an audio component to all of my work. Click the link below the next paragraph to listen.
By now, you’ve seen the facebook groups/fan pages: “I’m quitting Facebook once we have to pay $14.99 a month on July 9, 2010”, or some other date (it oddly enough keeps getting pushed back). These groups are FAKE, at least so says Mark Zuckerberg. But incase you’re just someone who is even more cynical than me and doesn’t believe ol’ Marky Z when he says he has no intentions of ever charging for his service… how about trying the lost art of “critical thinking” before you join one of these sham groups and start sounding off like an uninformed idiot on their wall? This week’s Dose of Buckley explains why Facebook won’t become a paysite, especially not for $14.99 a month.
