A Dose of Buckley 33 – Clickjacking

Posted in A Dose of Buckley with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on June 28, 2010 by adoseofbuckley

Closing out June with another educational edition of A Dose of Buckley.

A number of my friends have been “click-jacked” on Facebook lately, so I felt I needed to explain to people WHY this is happening, what it means, what it can do, and why it’s very annoying to me when it happens! Have a listen, and please… try and learn something!

And while you’re at it, get in on the ground floor of the newest Facebook fanpage for people who’ve liked every other Facebook page: “Blindly clicking links on facebook because I’m an idiot!”

More audio fun, including censored versions of most of my work for those who don’t like all those naughty words, at my actual site, A Dose of Buckley

The G20 Aftermath: “Anarchist” is just another word for “Coward”

Posted in Supplements with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on June 27, 2010 by adoseofbuckley

So, as expected, the G20 Summit protests turned into a complete farce. So-called “peaceful protests” turned violent, and of course the jobless hippies who were arrested will no doubt claim we live in a “police state”, as they made themselves martyrs to their nonsense cause (which they are completely clueless about). And before I even hear ONE alternate viewpoint from the great unwashed… have you seen the pictures?

Taken from the Toronto Star… masked “anarchists”, too cowardly to show their faces, destroy a cop car. Yeah, that’ll show the governments of the world! You really taught them a lesson on world economics, by wrecking a cop car.

And here, we see another coward, a woman apparently (I couldn’t tell, you seen the clothes that so-called “men” wear these days? could very well have been a man in those tights), destroying the window of what was reported to be a Winners. Again, how is that protesting world economics? You’re just breaking a window because you can get away with it.

Would any of these losers attempt this type of vandalism if there weren’t a million people in a tightly condensed area, distracting the police? No, of course they wouldn’t. “Anarchists” are pathetic cowards, dregs of society that should be put down. The way I see it, for every window they broke, that should be a broken bone administered by a police baton. Every car set on fire should have been matched with the burned body of an “anarchist”. But the police did their jobs according to our civilized laws, they used rubber bullets when they should have used hollow-points, and unfortunately didn’t arrest every single one of them to be tried for their crimes.

Look at this joke of a human. Barely a man, surrounded by other pathetic human garbage, including that thing on the left that looks like his favourite past-time includes used needles. You think ANY of these people would survive if it were true anarchy? They wouldn’t, not even for a minute. Organized crime would take over and use every single one of these losers as snot-rags before tossing them in the nearest dumpster, none of them man enough to really fight back. They’d be dead within weeks. The irony is that the very society they protest is what keeps them alive and gives them the rights and freedoms to do what they’re doing. Anarchy will never work. People in general, as shown by displays like this, are far too stupid to govern themselves.

Bad Head – Edition 2

What happens when you take poorly written headlines and add poorly written jokes written in poor taste? You get Bad Head!

My second edition of Bad Head, all of the headlines taken from various newspapers from the week of June 20 to the 25th, 2010. My personal favourites: The Spain rail crossing incident, and the “Suspected Tornado”.

A Dose of Buckley 32 – Buckley vs Protest

Posted in A Dose of Buckley with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , on June 22, 2010 by adoseofbuckley

Dose #2 this week: two local activists were arrested for putting up posters that promoted protesting the G20 summit. Sure it’s a waste of police resources to be arresting hippies when there are rapists and meth cooks walking free, but I still enjoy seeing them arrested, especially when one of them is Darius Mirshahi, member (I think president, but I MAY be wrong on that, certainly the most recognizable member if he’s not president) of Fanshawe College’s “Social Justice Club”. And people wonder why I often take shots at the reputation of the place I received TWO Diplomas from, when they continue to allow people like this to represent their school (even if indirectly, the guy is paid to write an article for the student paper and is still allowed to set up a booth in the building to sell his propaganda, so he’s representing them). Yeah, I’M the asshole when I make jokes about a community college not being the same standard as Yale or Harvard, but it’s alright for this greasy hypocrite to hang out there all the time (when he’s not in jail).

Anyway, I’ve never been a fan of protest in general. Don’t like the country/system we live in? There’s something like 194 other ones you could move to. In this Dose, I discuss my dislike for both Darius and protesting, and… use the word LOVE?! What could invoke such a feeling? Listen to find out.

A Dose of Buckley 31 – Miley

Posted in A Dose of Buckley with tags , , , , , , , , , , on June 22, 2010 by adoseofbuckley

I’ve decided to switch my updates from every Friday to every Monday. From now on, instead of ending your week with angry comedy, you can use it to set the tone for the entire week! To celebrate the change: a Double Dose of Buckley!

Dose #1 this week: Miley Cyrus tells reporters that she’s “not trying to be slutty”. I suppose, to quote fellow Disney star Selena Gomez, “It comes naturally”. I tell you, sometimes this stuff just writes itself.

A Dose of Buckley 30 – World Cup

Posted in A Dose of Buckley with tags , , , , , , , , , , , on June 11, 2010 by adoseofbuckley

Well, the FIFA World Cup has started, which means that it’s time once again for everyone to pretend to care about a) soccer, and b) their heritage, neither of which they’ve acknowledged for the last 4 years.

Advice No One Asked For – Number Six

Posted in Supplements with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on June 8, 2010 by adoseofbuckley

After a pretty slow May (only two updates), I’m hoping to get back on track in June with more Dose of Buckley’s and Supplements.

This week, I bring back another favourite supplement of mine, “Advice No One Asked For”! In this, the sixth edition of the feature, I help out parents with mooching children, whether they want me to or not (and chances are, they’d rather I didn’t). If you have kids who leech off you, you may find this advice helpful. If you’re someone who leeches off your parents… you may want to make sure they don’t hear this (hopefully you haven’t already shown them how to use the internet).

Editions 1-5, as well as over an hour’s worth of dark and angry humour can be found, as always, at my website, A Dose of Buckley

A Dose of Buckley 29 – Kristen Stewart

Posted in A Dose of Buckley with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on June 4, 2010 by adoseofbuckley

In my second Dose of Buckley this week, I continue the theme of misused words as I talk about Twilight’s Kristen Stewart and her comparison of the paparazzi to rape. I understand that next week they’re going to publish an interview where she likens not having her favourite brand of soda at the grocery store to genocide.

A Dose of Buckley 28 – YouTube Comments

Posted in A Dose of Buckley with tags , , , , , , , , , , , on June 4, 2010 by adoseofbuckley

This week, it’s another DOUBLE DOSE of Buckley! Really, I’m just making up for my laziness as I didn’t post anything last week. I make no apologies, it’s free entertainment. I doubt Maddox will be writing any more this year, so at least I’m one up on him.

ANYWAY, My first update this week is about the mind-numbingly awful YouTube comments I see… pretty much every time I visit YouTube. It’s amazing how little intelligence there is among that entire community of morons. If the spelling and grammar mistakes aren’t enough, the sheer butchering of the language and improper use of words is enough to make you wonder if inbreeding isn’t more prevalent than thought. This update, I mostly tackle the overuse of the word “best”.
